o wow.
I think this is a record.
not writing on this thing for awhile.
facebook is the ultimate time consumer...sorry xanga....you have been replaced.

I have officially been offered a teaching contract by a school in Amman, Jordan. and I signed it.
So I have a job next year. starting in August, I will be teaching a 1st grade class in Jordan.
yes, I'm very very excited.
currently I am student teaching at the school across the street with a kindergarten class. I am exhausted.
that's it. and hopefully everyone else is doing good.

by the way awesome book. awesome Bible study.

update:
I graduate in the spring. and I've been struggling with future plans for awhile....usually that means ignoring the obvious and inevitable.
an idea that has been rummaging in my brain and that I have been working on has finally taken hold.
and I am currently applying to an organization to teach overseas:
My two choices are:
1. Amman, Jordan.
2. Cairo, Egypt.

yes. I know. crazy huh? o well. there was a lot of debating and analyzing, pointing out the pros and cons of staying here and teaching or traveling overseas and teaching...and it came down to this is the best time to go for me. and if I don't go, I'm not sure I ever will because if I stay here I will get my own place, new car, career....and basically settle down for who knows how long?
anyway. that 's it. and I'm done now.

PS. did I mention how excited I am?

its been awhile I know.

update:
1.One more week of Day camp left! I'm sad...but at the same time so relieved: does that make sense?
2.My brother's wedding in California was amazing and emotional...wow.
3. My dad is still in a wheelchair for another couple of weeks...but doing much better.
4. School starts in about 3 weeks. I am very excited.: yes, I am a nerd.
5. I am starting the new Harry Potter book...I have no clue what happens, so I am very excited.

sister, brother, me, mom: after the wedding.

yeah. it's been awhile.
3 and a half weeks of day camp left.
update on life:
my dad was hit by a drunk driver on Sunday night, so needless to say its been an intense week already.
He's fine. 2 broken bones. tomorrow I get to go see him in the hospital in the afternoon.
I realized its stressful going on with life when you have other things like this in your life.
but it could have been so much worse, so we are thankful he is alive.
however, he won't be able to fly out to California for my brother's wedding. that's been hard.
anyway, on a lighter note...work has been good. hard. but I enjoy it. sometimes.
this Friday is the children's Talent Show. It's going to be so cool and I'm excited for them all.
there was a baby opossum in our garbage can. he was very cute.
random. I know.

5 weeks to go and counting: it's going pretty fast actually. but I have to say I'm a little tired right now.

this is what happens when I volunteer the staff for games: the team who won the most relay races got to pick the staff member who would get the pie in the face: that was me.

life is so crazy now: I can't really think of anything else.
work is busy-planning each week is a little stressful: so is being in charge of staff:
church is busy-children's church, and other things
Bible studies-loving them.
Hanging out with friends- love it
flying out to California soon for my brother's wedding....that's going to be amazing
I think that's it.

goodnight.
